When the going gets tough- tapping on yourself

Posted by fionasmith70 on January 14, 2009

After writing the last post I thought about my own experiences of using EFT on myself.

Just before Christmas, I had a lot of anger coming up, as part of some grief issues I had at the time.  I felt really blocked about EFT and just didn’t want to have to do it.

I knew that it would help me, so I took the dive and simply put my feelings into the set-up statement, which went as follows.

“Even though I rally don’t want to do this tapping, I accept myself anyway”

“Even though I don’t want to do this tapping, why should I?, I love and accept myself.

“Even though I don’t want to tap on myself, I’ve had enough of it, I love and accept myself”

This proved to be very effective, cleared my anger very quickly, and moved swiftly into the next feeling which was a huge outpouring of tears and sadness, which I tapped on.  It was a pivotal time for me and my anger loosened its grip, and life became lighter and happier and I could enjoy my Christmas.

This experience shows that often when the going gets tough, it is often followed by huge healing.  It is hard to break through sometimes, but just remember what is on the other side…….

Love  Fiona.
